| Noise Level Monitoring will take place at all SSSCC event sites.
SSSCC Noise Level Monitoring Specifications (updated January 16, 2007)
93 decibels measured at 75 feet using a Radio Shack decible measuring device with the following settings:
- Setting A
- Slow Response
- 90 Scale
Immediate red flag and DNF for failed runs.
A falied 2nd run results in an immediate red flag and DSQ for the day.

Very
similar to autocross/Solo 2, except cars compete drag
race style on mirrored courses, complete with "Christmas
Tree" starting lights

PAX
|
The
PAX index is a formula used to enable time comparison
of
vehicles raced in different classes. The Index was
developed by Chicago regions, Rick Ruth and reflects
study of results from over 160 nationwide Solo II events
including, the Tire Rack® Solo II National Championships,
National Tour, Subaru CenDiv Series, Chicago Region
SCCA, Tri-State Sports Car Council, Wisconsin Autocrossers
Inc., Southeast Divisional Series, San Francisco, San
Diego and New England events.

Vintage Class
Cars 25 years or older. No competition race tires or slicks are allowed . All SCCA Stock and Street Prepared classes are combined and PAX'd. No Prepared or Modified Class cars allowed regardless of age. Vintage Class is not eligible for the year end points championship.

2008 Points Championship
Minimum required events to be 2 events more than half of the total number of season poinst events.
Maximum number of events to be used for points will be no more than 3 less than the total number of events.
Minium points allowed for event attendance = 50 points.
Points calculation method shall be as follows:
100 - [250 x (Your best PAX corrected time - 1st place PAX corrected time) / 1st place PAX corrected time]
Championship awards will be given for all classes (except Novice) at the end of season awards banquet.
