Before you register online for a SSSCC event you will need to follow three simple steps.
1) Create a User Account with On Line Race Management (ORM), the club's online data base.
2) Create a Garage, which is a list of all the vehicles you plan to drive in SSSCC events and information about them. (car numbers, classes, etc...)
3) Register for an Event.
After you create a User Account and Garage, registering for an event becomes a simple/quick process. You'll simply find an event on our event calendar and register for it. Here are step-by-step instructions to walk you through the three step process.
1) CREATE AN ACCOUNT
1.1) Click here to go to the Online Race Management (ORM) main page.
1.2) Select => Register <=

1.3) You will be taken to the User Infomation page. Please fill out all the contact information so the club can contact you in case of an emergency. Also, don't forget to write down your User ID and Password and keep it in a safe place as you'll need it to sign up online for future SSSCC events. (see photo below)

1.4) Once your done filling in all your contact info choose Save. You will be taken to a page where you will link your contact info to our club. (see photo below). Select the SSSCC and choose subscribe.

Congratulations! You have now created a user account with our club. If you ever want to make any changes to your info in the future you can click on the pencil icon
to edit your account info.
2) CREATE A GARAGE
Next, you will create a "garage" where you can store the vehicle(s) you plan to drive in SSSCC events.
2.1) Choose My Garage on the left hand side of the page. Note: If you wait too long, or surf around to other websites between steps 1 and 2, you might have to Login and enter your user name and password again.

You will be taken to the My Garage page. (see photo below)
2.2) Click on Insert Car to add a car to your Garage.

That will open the Garage Entry page (see photo below)

2.3) The Sports Car Club of America Solo2 National program has 32 vehicle classes. This is just too many classes for a small local club like ours, so we have combined those 32 National classes into 13 local classes. You can see a list of how we combined the SCCA National classes into our local classes by on the Rules page of the SSSCC website. You can view it by clicking here. If you still have questions, you can post a message on the SSSCC Forum.
After reviewing the SSSCC's local classing structure you can fill in your Garage Entry information.
2.4) When you're finished choose Save. If you decide not to save your changes for some reason, click on the Cancel button/icon
.
3) REGISTER FOR EVENT
Now that you have created a user account and added a vehicle (or vehicles) to your garage, you can now register for an event.
3.1) Choose Event Calendar. (see photo below)

At the tope of the page, make sure that the SSSCC is selected under Club Selection so that you are viewing events for our club. Also note that you can also specify the Month and Year to further sort the calendar of events.
3.2) Find the Event you want to participate in and click on it. A page will open showing details about the event. At the top of the page you will see two icons.
Register For Event - Select this icon to register for the event.
View Regisration List - Select this icon to view the list of people who are registered for this event.
3.3) Click on the Register for the Event icon
. You will be taken to a special page that shows both your Garage and whether your registered for the event or not. (see photo below)
3.4) Select the vehicle in your Garage that you want to drive for the event and check the box next to it.
3.5) Then choose Register Selected Cars.

Notice that your Garage information is transfered into the second window. Also notice that you now can Edit
or Delete
your registration by clicking on the appropriate icon.

3.6) You can now click on the View Regisration List icon
to double-check that you are now registered for the event. You will also be sent an email confirming that you registered for the event(s).
3.7) That's it! If you want to register for additional events, just repeat steps 3.1 thru 3.5. It's much quicker/easier to do now that you've created a User Account and Garage.
See you at the next event!
NEW!
4) PAY ONLINE
For 2008, the club has instituted a new addition to our Online Race Management software. You can now pay online with a credit card. It's brand new, so it is still being "tweaked" to make the process even smoother. Here's a step-by-step of the process.
4.1) Follow steps 3.1 through 3.5 as you would normally. When you get to the event registration page you can now choose to Add Registrations to Cart and Submit Online Payment. (see photo below)

Note about Club Membership: You will receive a discount if you are an SSSCC club member. Yearly membership is $20 and entitiles you to $5 off event an individual event entry fee. You can join the SSSCC and pay online by clicking on My Memberships. There are instructions on the page that will tell you how to pay online for club membership. Or you can sign up in person at an SSSCC club meeting or event.
Note about 2-Day Event Discounts: Normally when you pay in person for a 2-day event, you receive a $5 discount for signing up for both days. At this time, the Online Payment system does not support this. As a temporary fix, we will refund your $5 the morning of the event until the online payment system is updated.
4.2) Once you have all your registerations added (you can have one or more), click on Add Registrations to Cart.
4.3) Click on Submit Online Payment
4.4) Double check that the information is correct (amount, etc...) and choose Checkout.
4.5) Enter your Name, Card Type, Credit Card Number, Expiration Date and CVV (Security Code). (see photo below)

Note: Online Race Management uses a secure page so there is no worry of identity theft.
4.6) Click Submit Payment
Thanks it! You're done!
